While I would have enjoyed playing this game, it just didn't work out. I liked the format, but found that I wasn't able to advance with a lot of my input choices. It's a little confusing - because i wasn't sure if I should stick to court-lingo or with just common words: it wasn't very clear just what options I had for input and what would not be registered.

I did look at the walkthrough that was suggested, but the space bar didn't appear to work on the input fields, so I ended up trying to write "askher", etc. - which wouldn't be registered as valid input and I was back to square one. I really liked the art and would have loved to enjoy the story, but I think input options should be made a lot clearer.

I really love the concept of this game because it shows that abuse cases are not always cut and dry, and that abusers are often really good at concealing their true nature and turning things around on others.

any chance to upload the project completely please :(

Hi, I can't play this on linux in fullscreen. It gets stuck on the option/play/about screen and mouse or enter or arrows don't work. I'm only able to close the game. Windowed it works

You already know thanks to my article how much I adore you and your talent, Angela, but let me say it here once more: You are not just an absolutely fantastic artist, but also your storytelling skills. I'm very glad that this was the first game I played by you, because you left your mark with it in my heart. Also, I'm very happy that you made the 21st place with it in the Ludum Dare 39 - well deserved and an amazing place for your jam debut! Also I felt the urge to include it in our GOTY 2017 list, because it's a really beautiful piece of a visual novel. <3 Looking forward to your future projects. May new players be driven to you by our little gameplay video of your game. :)

Best wishes,
Sebastian

Aww, thank you Sesbastian! You're so sweet. I'm glad to have met you and I'm grateful for all your curating work. All those games on the GOTY look amazing, I'll be sure to check them out!!

<333 I'm glad that I've met you as well. You're such a kind soul and such an amazing artist! Neverever lose your spirit. :)

the text font wont show for me  can you tell me about the name of the text fonts in the game because my computer doesn't have them+ I don't really know why it looks like this for me  the game starts without  the orange text " he beat her" start , sitting and quit

I truly have enjoyed these small narratives you've created so far in your gams. I can see lots of value in these flash tales projects. For me, it's also an inspiration for other indie developers creators.

Congrats!

I've made a review on this on my blog!

Another amazing game Angela! I will always look forward to your other ones :)

I know I should say something about the game, and it's a really good game but what's the name of the genre of the main music ?

I'm definitely gonna check out your other games, so expect more reviews!

It's funny, from the thumbnail I expected this game to be something like 'Sara Is Missing', but that obviously isn't the case at all lol but as I started getting a feel and understanding the mechanics, I easily built an enjoyment through my gameplay. Most games that require you to figure out the puzzle, riddle, or whatever (pretty much all games lol), can easily get boring and lose its hold on the gamer. But my experience with your game was quite the opposite! Loved it!! I didn't check out the link for the walkthrough cuz it's only right to put the ol' massive brain to the test! But the tip for the very beginning (i.e. think, talk, etc.) was definitely helpful to get the ball rolling. Great work!!

I loved the game, the art and mood is amazing, but the game design feels weird, it's hard to play the game because you have no idea what to do,and when you want to ask something its hard to know what you should type in, then if you go to your breakthrough your pretty much getting spoiled because you have all the info :c maybe an idea would be to start with easy and obvious things so that you can at least get the first part right and then proceed on your own. Keep doing these games, I'm going to try your others now!

this game is truly a dream come true. Ive always wanted those time machine and use hints type of games. I really really love the concept of your masterpiece! Still cant believe such a beautiful and incredible game was made in such a short time! I enjoyed playing it! It took me an hour plus to finish it! Got really frustrated near the ending but in the end i got two endings without any help! This was really really fun and i cant emphasise it enough. What's better is that the story it tells is really eye opening. (Spoiler ahead!!) Turns out both parties were in the wrong... I'm wondering if there would be a sequel though? Like the backstory as to why the client threw the plate? like everyone's backstory looks really interesting... But either way, thank you so much for your game! I really REALLY loved and still loving it!

thank you! one of the sweetest comments ever <3 no sequel, but so glad you loved it.

Although this visual novel was kind of confusing, I still had alot of fun playing it. Thank you for giving me the ability to play it!

Discovered your game through ManlyBadassHero.

I'm stuck, even though i've typed some of the hints i'm still stuck

I really like that game, you're such a amaizing artist and game maker :^)

LOVED it! I'm a little dumb, but I got through it!

Interesting gameplay had some fun also got a bit frustrated as I wish I could have done more into the game looking forward to future updates!

All releases of this game (Windows, Mac, and Linux) contains a __MACOSX directory. Temporary folders like this should probably be removed from releases (at least the Windows and Linux releases).

oh. didn't see/know that. I'll look into it.

I loved it! BEAUTIFUL game. Although, I'm a dum-dum and had to use the walkthrough xD

very interesting!

Hi, may be nice, but how to get it running under Kubuntu 14.04 - I cant start it there

Thanks a lot for any suggestion...

Type in "remember" and then "evidence" first, or you'll be completely stuck...

How was this made in 48 hours? I couldn't make this in a year! I played this for 30 minutes without realising and I found a lot of you're easter eggs ;)

Awesome game and I loved every moment of it! I loved the simplicity and how there was a certain puzzle aspect to the game and with the much deeper backstory. The art and music also made this game awesome.

Would've loved to see a fully fleshed out game for this but I'll be looking forward to your other games in the future!

Only advice was that it was a little confusing at times on what I could do and couldn't do and I'm not sure if I even completed the game XD

Really neat stuff, excellent artwork and an engaging narrative.

You should link the walkthrough through here as  the link in the game isn't a  hyperlink.

To be honest, it is the art which attracts me first to this game before the synopsis, 'cause it reminds me to Sui Ishida's style (like in Tokyo Ghoul ^^).

The storytelling in this game is pretty neat; the plot is separated into tiny pieces of simple choices which leading to complete the big puzzle of manipulation, trauma, and repentance from guilty in each characters past/background. You even still manage to slip some comical monologues here to ease the tention xD

Wish upon your future projects :)

Oh this was so well done! The twists and turns and having the keep replaying to get to the truth was a great touch. Added a nice little bit of intrigue to proceedings =)

I was very impressed with how much depth there was to the game too, considering the minimalist style, I was really hooked on the feel of everything.

All in all a fantastic game, keep up the amazing work =)

thank you!!! :)) Glad you found all the endings.

Great job! I played a little bit for my channel. Congratulations, I'm super impressed by how little time it took you to make such a pretty, intricate game!

Thank you!! It was fun watching you play. I'm glad you like it :)

Perhaps you should have linked the commands walkthrough on this site since it's not clickable in the game.

Not everyone looks at the description though. If I had more time I'd code a link in the actual game

The presentation it's amazing, it was a bit hard but you've fixed it. So many outcomes! Good Job!

thank you!! and thanks for playing! :DD

Beautiful, fitting art and atmospheric music and SFX. And, of course, a great and meaningful game. I found it challenging but it was satisfying gradually uncovering more information. Love ittt!!

That's so nice :D I'm so glad you love it!!

Art is amazingggBut game is a little bit hard (maybe I'm a little bit stupid lol)  I also liked the story. However like I said it's a bit hard to solve the thing (you understand what I mean) and this wasn't what I expected but that doesn't mean the game is bad. I think you make awesome games!! Keep goin'

Thank you so much :D You're not stupid.. how can I make it easier?

I couldn't get the good ending. There are so many possibilities and I got bored trying to get the right one. But I think it's very kind of you to reply all of the comments, also whenever I see your art I'm like WOOOOAAAAAAH your art is awesome and your games too.

Thank you. Probably will give more clues. Sometime soon. Maybe, lol.

Really cool game! The hints and clues were smart and really interesting. I have been following you on youtube for a long time and always loved your art, but I didn't know you made games until yesterday! It's amazing! I love the overall mood in this game, and the art is simply gorgeous

Thank you so much!! :DD God, this is so wholesome.
