Escape from an isolated, totalitarian nation modelled after North Korea in Suppressed, a visual novel and 2D platform game.
You start as a boy in a rural village, looking to escape your nation. Along the way, you face family death, fall into depression, and interact with others. Helping someone with an item lets you discover their unique story. With your and their stories combined, you discover the full extent of propaganda, poverty, and tyranny that dominates your nation.

This is more like living in Nazi Germany than North Korea. North Korea is not that bad.
It was a pretty cool game, but I just didn't how there was no saving points and such. I mean, it was nice and such that it was forcing us to be more focused to the game and reach certain points. But yeah, the only problem I really had was how it resets everytime and there's no saving point. Yeah thats just me. All in all, cool game.

Suppressed is a really nice game. You'll be surprised by the depth of the story. If you're hesitating to try it, here is my gameplay to convince you. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did :) :
