Thank you for making this game. It really hit for me and I completely adored the story and the characters and the way everything came together, both in parts and in the end. Thank you!
Beautiful game. I first discovered the game on Youtube and it instantly hit me in the heart. Then I bought the game because I really wanted to experience it by myself, see all the possibilities and endings, and enjoy the story that is incredibly cute, warm but also heartbreaking at se same time. I've already played visual novels before but this one is very special. The interface is soft and clean, what makes the game even more pleasant to play. Also the drawings and the art style are gorgeous, and the musics are peaceful and beautiful too, and made the game even more moving. Even if it makes me sad, I can't help but think about it again and again. Deep in my heart I wish this story could end in another way, but the game is beautiful this way and I don't regret having played it at all. I'm a pretty emotional person but It's been a long time since I've been so moved. Gg for making such a beautiful game ;)
Nice game Angela. Glad to see you are exporting to multiple platforms now.
You should make a Discord server ;) And put a few trusted mods there. But maybe it's not your thing to make a Discord server, and you could delete it later if you find that you don't like having a Discord server. It's a great way to get instant feedback for your games and hold polls.
Omg thank you FizzyTea. I would but my life is so disorganized I would be a horrible mod/discord leader T_T Idk but if anyone wants to make a discord without me feel free!
This was like nothing I was expecting, beautifully illustrated, perhaps far too timely and utterly broke me. It existentially weighs on me the power of relationships alongside the power of their loss. I think I'm glad I experienced it, not all media is easy.
This game's art is STUNNING. The pacing was amazing, and the story nuances felt very real to me, I loved all the little touches in the background, and think this was a fantastic visual novel.
A lot of games I've gotten have had that same problem, but I just click the more info button which then prompts a run anyways button to show up. Hope that helps you!
Beautiful visual novel about a lesbian married couple that legit made me tear up a little. I guess what makes it hit harder than many of the other ones I played so far is how topical it is to our current live and how charming and believable the characters are presented. Also helps that the game allows you to quickly jump to a chapter where you left off, so you are very easily able to digest the whole story of your path instead of needing to replay the whole thing. Small, but precious and beautiful thing. If you wondered if you should check out a VN of the bundle, this is a great start. 4,5/5
I saw 2 endings, both brought me to a lot of tears. It's a VERY beautiful game but I don't feel like crying two or three more times in the hope of seeing some happiness that might not exist. I managed to get them to old age though so, you know.
I really loved this... It wasn't what I was expecting, tho lol. When the description says "when your loved one hurts you" I was anticipating more interpersonal conflict and less navigating grief. Still, very important work and I loved going thru it. <3 Bless more lgbtq content!
Also, lmao, August reminds me of my partner and May reminds me of me and now I need to go schedule that doctors appointment I keep promising to set up //guilt
Such a lovely little piece, really hit me in the feels hard for how short and simple it is. Adore the art style, love the music choice. Beautiful work here :)
The story hit me even harder every time I reached a dead end and replayed the chapter. This game addresses some of the deepest desires and fears we have as humanity: the yearning for meaning and for love.
Story - 4/5 - The length is just long enough that I felt connected with the characters, but short enough that backtracking doesn't feel like a chore. What really stood out to me was the nuances in dialogue that shifted through each playthrough based on my choices. This game makes me seek out a happy ending. That being said, using death to tug at heartstrings is somewhat cliche, but that didn't stop it from being effective.
Mechanics - 3.5/5 - Obviously nothing groundbreaking, but for visual novels, the most important thing is that the mechanics don't break immersion.
Visuals - 4.5/5 - The art style is gorgeous, and the general lack of motion makes scenes with movement more meaningful. The only time immersion was broken was when there was a transition in scene and the characters suddenly looked like they reversed in age 10-20 years. I would definitely recommend fixing that, but otherwise, I have no complaints.
Sound - 3.5/5 - I'm not a fan of Lo-Fi, but the music generally fit the art style and topic. A little variety would be welcome to break the repetition.
Overall - 4/5 Difficulty - Very Easy/N/A
Completed - Playthrough (5 out of 5 endings)(1 hr)
I keep trying to play the game and the exe files crashes every time. I think the UnityCrashHandler is itself crashing before the game does and another Unity game i downloaded is fine. I have a Win 10 64 bit system with Radeon and Intel graphics
My wife has early onset Alzheimer's. And while I'm not a lesbian, love is love, and man this game hits home in such a hard way. It's absolutely and heart-wrenchingly brilliant. And the last ending I got just now, I've never wanted to reach through a screen and console a digital character more, to tell her the pain of the loss is indeed worth time you had and the love you shared. I'm going to have to get all 10 endings before I am done. It's is amazing how such a simple game can be so profound.
The phrasing of "But when your loved one hurts you, what do you do?" made me think that this was about being cheated on, so I put off playing it. I'm sooooo glad that I played it anyway. It's truly beautiful and as a woman married to a woman, it hit very close to home many times. A lot of tears, but the good kind. Thank you for this wonderful experience <3
I loved missed messages and didn't realize this was made by the same person at first, I only wish I could buy the fan pack through here so I don't have to buy a separate copy of the game through steam

It won't be Angela's Discord server. It will be OUR Discord server.

Makes sense to not have a Discord in some cases, as owning/maintaining too many things can be quite overwhelming/burnout.

I guess this tin man did have a heart... :'{)

This game as well as other games by Angela is (are) amazing, great art, music and storytelling. I want wife, spare wife anyone?
Such a lovely little piece, really hit me in the feels hard for how short and simple it is. Adore the art style, love the music choice. Beautiful work here :)

Thank you so much. Incredible work.
With which engine/how did you made this game?
The art style is looking very good btw!
I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's unity!
Loved this made me think!
Made me cry faster than any other media I have consumed. Realistic depiction of lesbians 10/10
this game is so good and so, so, poignant. truly beautiful.
i bought this through the bundle for racial justice and equality and have cried so much while playing this. its just so emotional and so beautiful.
while i only got 2 or 3 endings, each one i got made me want to learn more and keep playing. beautiful illustrations, story, and animation!
You broke my heart in the best way thank you :).
