The art is beautiful, ridiculously good I think it off hand is one of the best examples of art in a video game and for a small that is very very impressive. I wish the decisions were a bit harder to make, I felt it was super easy to get the good ending and in way that doesn't really make me want to explore further but I did anyways. I wasn't overly compelled by the narrative, it kind of felt abrupt, I don't feel like I know the character, kind of felt like it was intentionally left vague enough to connect with your target demographic, which is fine, To me it felt like the story lacked context, On later playthroughs my decisions were based around which I think I would get cooler art from than any connection to the narrative. I suppose it's also kind of left vauge enough to connect to your audience but I just didn't feel like there was a lot of meat to it. I also felt like the music was a bit much, it's very scenic and peaceful and I like what you're going for but for my taste it was a bit distracting.
You really have something with the art though, it's amazing without exaggeration some of the best art I've seen in any game, the style, everything it was fantastic. I played "missed messages" and without seeing who authored this immediately recognized it, which it can pay to have a recognizable style. But the way you incorporate art into the narrative has improved a lot from then, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!
I'm disappointed at the severe underrepresentation of POC in this game. POC, or marginalized communities in general, are disproportionately affected by mental illness, so to see them not represented sufficiently felt kind of hurtful. I hope the next time you tackle these mental health issues in a game, you make sure to properly represent those it affects the most disproportionately.
the main character is most likely asian as angela is also asian and i see her use asian characters mostly in her games. this is such an annoying thing to say because why would she show experiences she would probably not even know about?? idk this doesnt make as much sense as you want it to
Played a while ago, just hadn't had time to comment on it. I did enjoy the game. of course it has a heavy message as her other games too. but it's so hard not to love the message and art <3
The Linux version isn't working for me. Only the title screen and after clicking "start" only music and a black screen appears. Guess I will stick to the online version then...
This game still resonates within deeply. It was extremely emotionally provoking and well thought out. Simply Beautiful. I will definitely be playing this game again soon.
This game is so devastatingly beautiful. I've played it again and again, my eyes not wanting to look away in fear I'd miss something, but my heart crumbling the more I continued. What broke me the most, though, was the "inspired by real life" message. I really hope the game dev is doing well, honestly.
Un juego que me refresca la memoria, we're alive, it's okay to not be happy all the time. Queremos olvidar cosas que nos hieren, pero para superarlas, debemos comprenderlas, aceptar que existen y no temer a perder nuestra mΓ‘scara
This was such a beautiful game. It couldn't have been easy to make and it really is something. It's really hard to make things that come from this kind of pain. I quit doing artistic things for this reason. I haven't gotten to a good ending yet, but I know it's possible so I'm gonna keep trying to get it on my own. I usually stay away from stuff that makes me think of the things this made me think of but I needed the cry lol
This game is beautiful and emotionally impactful, and I understand that it was made under time constraints. There is something attractive about its brevity-- it allows the heartbreak of this character to conform to anyone's situation, making it very relatable. Yet, I can't help but crave more narrative. I wanted to keep exploring the weird, melancholic world and this tormented girl's mind. Overall, I'm very glad to have played this. It's a gem, and I will probably replay it. :)
This has been my FAVORITE indie game I have played thus far. Gosh, the aesthetic was beautiful and the message was even more marvelous. The only thing that would have made it better is if at the end of the bad endings if there was a message saying to not be afraid to ask for help or something like that. But yes, thank you so much for making this game!
i am so sorry that there is someone who have the same story that i have,i was going to give up that time, but everytime i think of my families friends the people who own me.i live
Hey I just wanted to say that you are loved! I'm really sorry you had to go through that but I know that you are strong and an amazing person. This goes for everyone who might read this: you are loved! Your worth is infinite!

This game gave me the feelsπ I haven't gone through what the woman did but when the time comes (because it will, death is inevitable) I hope that I can continue on living like she did

Short, impactful, meaningful and most importantly, helpful for a lot of people.

Really love the art style and the topics that it talks about
I thought it was a wholesome game at first but boy was I wrong

this already from the art style reminds me of games by Angela He.
Wait, is this by Angela He?
Just realized this is by Angela He.
I feel stupid now.
lol
Devastating. Absolutely did not expect for this game to make me cry the way it did. Thank you.

amazing beautiful game, emotionally made me realise.
first game i played from angela. it was rlly short, but i like it!

Art and mood was great, love the dark surreal vibe. Nice job! :)
